Brentwood Research Institute (BRI) is a full-time, dedicated, psychiatric, clinical research facility located in Shreveport, Louisiana. BRI’s medical facility is uniquely designed to suit the special needs of clinical research.

We are connected and affiliated with Brentwood, A Behavioral Health Company, which is a 200-bed psychiatric hospital.

The hospital provides quality psychiatric and addictive disease treatment for children, adolescents, and adults in North Louisiana, Arkansas, and East Texas. Our unique relationship offers us the ability to control the quality of our research programs at all times.

In order to ensure high quality service, Brentwood Research Institute conducts its clinical trials in accordance with FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practices, and sponsor protocols. Our medical group is staffed with highly trained professionals who work closely with pharmaceutical companies and Institutional Review Boards to ensure study compliance and collection of reliable data while maintaining our commitment to the safety of our patients as well as their individual rights.

Our staff takes time to thoroughly assess each individual patient by obtaining a detailed medical and psychiatric history. Additionally, we perform a detailed review of all aspects of a clinical trial protocol with each potential study participant. This is necessary in order to ensure complete understanding. By taking the time to determine and understand an individual’s diagnosis, and by evaluating and explaining the clinical trial protocol, we assure a good match between potential patient and study protocol.

When an individual enrolls in a trial at Brentwood Research Institute, they can be assured that our professional staff members will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to address any study related issues that may arise.
